Rates for providing service/repair for various equipment on board vessels

Apart from the above rate-sheet the following allowances are also payable:

	Waiting/Standby charges will be payable only at ports other than Cochin at the rates of 50% of one day basic rate of 8 hrs. when the above personnel are stranded beyond the minimum period of 8 hrs.
	Lodging & Boarding for System & Service Engineers at actual - not to exceed Rs.1500.00 per day per person and for technicians at actual - not to exceed Rs.800.00 per day per person.
	Anchorage allowance - 30% of basic rate for all personnel
	Outstation allowance - 30% of basic rate for all personnel
	Incidental charges when SMEC arranges Bus/Train/Air Tickets
	System & Service Engineers will be eligible to travel by Economy Class Air or First Class Train, and Technicians will be eligible to travel by Second Class Train
	To & Fro taxi fare to attend Station/Airport/Hotel/Ship/Site will be on actuals
	During repair, if any spare parts are used, the cost is to be reimbursed on actuals with 15% extra upon submission of supporting documents
